Skeleton Key
These keys were common in colonial times and up until the 1940's when many people switch to a pin tumbler lock. The keys have a bar that rotates a series of levers to open the door. The number of levers vary and they have to be lifted at the exact height in order for the bolt to open. They are called the a skeleton key because they have just the bare essential of a key and it also resembles a skeletal figure. Our technicians can remake one for your lock or install a lock that uses these type of key so if you need to set up an appointment please give us a call at (602) 633-5444 and our customer service specialist will be happy to help you.
